In 197 2, there was a vacancy in the Anthropology Department at the university of pittsburgh. I joined the faculty there. One of the parameters of which job was to set up an Archaeological Training Program that would train not only graduate and undergraduate students in anthropology and archaeology and the protocols of modern excavation, but also to train people in ancillary fields, geologists, climatologists, floral and fauna specialists and so forth. Thousands of people took on the cold and snow to march in support of equality across the nation on Saturday in Seneca Falls for the third annual Women’s March.   The first women’s rights convention took place in Seneca Falls in 1848, and in recent years, more than 15,000 people have showed up.
