Then we will have a roundtable discussion about how the messages came to be so you can take that practice back to your community for 2020 to build into your communities. That is the intro. I am the associate director for publications and program at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. I help build the Digital Content for preservation leadership forum. I spent a lot of time thinking about how we can tell the full American History for underrepresented communities across the United States. Im a public historian by training and Historic Preservation by way of being at the trust for 13 years. I believe they work handinhand. I thought i would start by telling a few of the things we have been doing at the National Trust over the years for women to history.
Owning them as a status and have it be domestic with the measure of ones worth within society and there is always that tension of the actual act of being seen, what we are getting at. Whos endowed that chair . Guest it was not russell kirk. [laughter] that was endowed by a family whos passed away, unfortunately, the briggs out of colorado and a number of other donors as well. Kirk used to teach classics at the university of coloradoboulder during the summers back in the 70s and 80s, and a lot of money in colorado, and these people really liked kirk, so they endowed that.
