Evacuate. Rescue crews have been trying to reach anybody trapped by the flames and this is what theyve been up against. In napa county the chp has rescued at least 44 people by air. Crews have also been going door to door, trying to make sure everybody got out okay. A curfew is in effect right now for parts of santa rosa, thats in effect until sunrise this morning. It appears to the area it applies to the areas highlighted in red there on your screen. Those are under mandatory evacuation orders. This is just one example of why the Santa Rosa Hilton hotel burned to the ground, just one of several businesses destroyed. Guests of the hotel had to evacuate. Most left their belongings behind, then consumed by the flames. And a number of people are still trying to locate their loved ones. Sonoma county has received more than 100 missing persons reports, although authorities arent sure how many of those are multiple calls about the same person.
