It is cloudy. We had some very spotty light rain move through this morning. That has moved out. Weve got clouds. Thats the gray you see. But the rain, that is now offshore and has just broken apart entirely. The focus turning to the thinning of the clouds that will allow for sunshine later today and temperatures to boost up. Were in the low 40s in areas like mt. Pocono, allentown to reading. Were at 47 in northeast philly and millville. Atlantic city, 49. So almost to the 50s now as we go farther south to areas like wildwood. Similar to yesterday, but a little warmer. So heres the temperature trend. We were in the low 40s saturday. Erika cabrera got video of the aftermath as rush hour drivers and pedestrians looked on in disbelief. I heard about ten or 15 shots fired and was trying to figure out what was happening, where it was coming from. Reporter trooper Patrick Casey tried to get his cruiser in front of the fleeing car, but the suspect rammed him and opened fire just before slamming into the bus. We saw the cops draw these big guns and they are behind their cars with their guns out. Reporter all the while, the suspects car had caught fire on rapidly engulfed the bus as officers tried to arrest the driver. Looked like he was talking into a cell phone, kind of kneeled down on the ground. They were approaching him and then as soon as they got close, he stood up and started to run. They have somebody arrested, so i decided to, you know, focus my camera down there and thats when i seen the suspect in handcuffs.
