The symphony will be playing a free concert for the Whittier community on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. The event will also be honoring local hero “Yosh” Nakamura with a pre-concert reception.
More than 100 community members, elected officials, museum staff and volunteers attended the ribbon ceremony and toured the museum during the celebration of the Whittier Museum on Sept. 9.
