Following Tuesday’s Whittier initial election results, Mayor Joe Vinatieri appeared firmly on his way to holding on to his mayoral seat, and Councilmember Cathy Warner also will remain in the District 3 seat. Change appeared to be coming to District 1, with Mary Ann Pacheco ahead of incumbent Jessica Martinez.
