That river was the western extent of the United States in the 1770s. And its going to be a very small community. Most of the buildings will be made out of logs and then some kind of lumber. And then, as we move into the 19th century, and as people start to move West Wheeling will start to grow because this is what some people would refer to as a jumping off point for travels into ohio and then india indiana and illinois and so on. As we move through the 19th century, the town extends to the south, extends to the north. And as it grows buildings would be out of brick. Lancaster opens its first dog park in Miller Park The Lancaster Parks and Recreation Doggie Destination at Miller Park opened Friday, the first city-owned dog park. Parks Superintendent Mike Tharp Jr. said a city dog park has been in consideration for a number of years.
