We have heavy downpours, breezy to gusty winds and this morning the rain is coming down from the north bay through the Santa Cruz Mountains. We do have breaks in our inland valleys but there is a chance of thunderstorms. As we look at live doppler 7 you will notice we have wet weather from the santa cruz area up through saratoga and sunnyvale, but as we go into the east bay its been light around martinez and richmond, 580, walnut creek a few light showers, dillon beach into marin, a lot of people live around hayward, fremont, san matteo not seeing any rain there. As we widen the view you can see the steady stream of moisture that wants to push up south of San Francisco bringing that showery regime with it, the high wind warning along the coast.
