more than three dozen animals we re seized by animal control this past thursday. twenty one of those .horses. (( nat pop horses neighing )) all of which we re removed after a raid on this boarding property on the 1800 block of fairhaven street after animal control reported the animal cruelty. now the animal foundation who ve been caring for these animals is trying to track down the original owners. cancelling the original deadline (( allison: 02:32 were actually working really closely with our partners in clark county. they re getting some phone calls from the owmers.as well as phone calls coming in to us. so we just want to make sure that we re all on the same page and we dont actually adopt out an animal that somebody wants to re-claim :44 )) a number of the horses have been temporarily housed here at horseman park while the owners find necessary documentation before the horses can be released. a deadly motorcycle accident is under investigation. it happened near azure and donna just after noon. metro tells us the motorcyclist was traveling west bound on azure when it coll the 28-year-old cyclist was taken to u-m-c where he was pronounced dead. police say drugs and alcohol initially do not seem to be a factor in the crash./// ((christianne klein)) one person is dead and another is recovering after a suspected drunk driver ran into them on the sidewalk. it happened last night, near charleston and las vegas boulevard. police say a man and woman were sitting on a wall.. when a 45-year old woman drove up onto the sidewalk and hit them. and was arrested a short time later. she was arrested for d-u-i, involving death. the woman on the wall was killed. the man has what are described as minor injuries./// ((paul joncich)) it sounds worse than it is, but the potential traffic nightmare called carnado is here. closures around the spaghetti bowl are expected to cause ....
at the complex on the west side of town the last few hours. and joins us now with what we re learning about the case. ((sharie johnson)) dave and denise. a tragic day for the family or families of these victims. and we know from police. one of the victims was related to a first responder. metro police say this all started when a man stopped by these apartments to check on his friend. when he arrived, police say he found his friend and a woman dead inside. police say it appears the man was shot but they re not sure we re told the victims were in their early 20 s and had been dead for at least 24 hours. when we first arrived on scene, we noticed two family members identified by metro police, crying and visibly shaken and understandably so. and because of this violent crime today. one man says he s leaving. afraid for his daughter s safety: ((jon quianzon, tenant: just really scary what happens, i m walking my daughter one night and somebody gets to shooting or whatever ....
