She is suited for the job with a background as a Police Reformer, but she has her critics. The Chicago Police bored chose 57yearold Ann Kirkpatrick for one of the top cop positions last year. When she didnt get it, the mayor picked her to head Police Reform efforts after the shooting of a 17yearold boy, a case that sparked national outrage. Im am a daetz. Incoming chief Ann Kirkpatrick was introduced. Mayor lib bee schaaf said she wanted someone that would hold them accountable. Kirkpatrick wants to lead a Department Transformation changing the culture. Right now american policing is a very hard time to be a Police Officer, but we have a bright future, and what we need is leadership. Fremont boulevard in fremont. In the back, you can see investigators trying to determine what exactly happened. Thats the ladder truck from the fremont fire truck. Unsure why theyre using it, perhaps to take overhead pictures of part of the crime scene. Trying to get more information, but the information is slow in coming out from the investigators here on the scene. Now, heres what we know so far at this point. It started before midnight when an east Bay Regional ParksPolice Officer had a confrontation with a car full of people at a 7eleven across the street from where we are right now.
