We have seen high wind gusts the past 24 hours. A live look outside. I want to take you to the mountains where winds have been gusting up to 89 Miles Per Hour where we measured late last night. We have also had high wind gusts in the sierra. Looking from alpine meadows, a live view, we measured 94mileperhour gust in the sierra. Temperature is only 34 degrees with relative humidity at 11 . So these high winds going along with this critically dry air is a reason why we still had this high fire danger as the wind advisory will be expiring here soon.
