She sherwin. let s just start with you, mr. sherwin. what s your reaction to this sad day? so a few things. let me first comment on the indictment and with all due respect to ambassador bolton, i disagree with him. he mentioned that it s a surgical indictment, and it s actually an unusual indictment. this is called a speaking indictment. that s very detailed. usually this is akin to a criminal complaint. and indictments are usually narrowly tailored. if it was more narrowly tailored that could have an impact upon the length of the trial and what the government actually has to prove. frankly, i was actually surprised with the level o f detail in the indictment. that means a few things, one, i think doj, jack smith was trying to show the public the seriousness of the conduct by the former president, which is important. however, you know, you reap what you sow, and the fact that the indictment is so long, so many counts, the government now has the burden to prove every single element of ....
