“I have always referred to Newcomerstown as my hometown. My mother, Carole Thomas Cornell, grew up here, and was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School. Her parents were the late Bill and Edith Thomas. My Grandpa was the water superintendent for many years, and my Grandma served as water clerk.
