Richard A. Koschak was born in Duluth on March 2, 1940 to Anton and Alice Koschak (Gaines). On March 17, 2023, at the age of 83, he left our world to join his son Bradley.

Services: The Newcomerstown Historical Society operates two museums. The Temperance House Tavern Museum is an 1841 Inn serving as a stop for passengers on the Ohio and Erie Canal. The Olde Main Street Museum is a town within a building.
Tara, please tell us a little about yourself, your family, and why you were interested in the Treasurer’s position at the Newcomerstown Historical Society?
“I have always referred to Newcomerstown as my hometown. My mother, Carole Thomas Cornell, grew up here, and was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School. Her parents were the late Bill and Edith Thomas. My Grandpa was the water superintendent for many years, and my Grandma served as water clerk. So many memories as a child were spending as much time as poss
