The Cabrillo College softball team saw its season come to a close Sunday after the visiting Sacramento City swept a doubleheader to win the best-of-three, CCCA NorCal Regional Playoffs first-round series.
Santa Cruz native Luke Rockhold, 39, a former UFC and Strikeforce middleweight champion, earned a third-round knockout of Joe Schilling in the main event of Karate Combat 45 in Dubai on Saturday.
