Flooded. Crews taking people from their homes to safety using the boats. And they are going doortodoor to make sure nobody gets trapped inside. We are live right near the action. Reporter what a wild scene out here in east san jose. There is an active rescue going on here at the apartment complex south of this intersection. Rescuing people. About a dozen at a time. They have an inflatable raft pier we heard they had 50 people pulled out of the flood waters. They think they have a total of 100 people rescued. The water is about 4 feet deep. Up to the armpits of the rescue workers. A pair of rafts taking people to dry ground. When they are on land, they are decontaminated with soap and water and then taken to a shelter. Everyone from infants, to the elderly, to pet, got caught up in these nasty floodwaters.
