Did not see any lightning likely because we heard some very big thunder and some ominous clouds we were seeing as we are at the very top of yosemite falls. It wouldnt have been good to see lightning. Yeah, they were very close. Moreover to the north of you, but they were close. Today looks a little quieter for the sierra nevada. Thunderstorm activity was really widespread up in the northern sacramento valley. It looks a little choir today. San jose is cloudy. The low clouds of made it there to san jose.
