We dont want to do this, but the reality is we have to make some cuts because if we dont, if we stay in the position we are currently, in all likelihood were going into state receivership. Thats where the state would come in and make cuts without asking any questions or hearing public comment. That could be anything up to and including the closing of a number of schools immediately. The suspect fled southbound on buena vista avenue in an unknown vehicle, the suspect is described only as a male. We spoke with neighbors who he i heard the car first of all and then i heard his tires screeching as he came around the corner in about a minute later i heard the sirens going and my dogs were howling so i checked outside and then the next thing with the helicopter that i saw. Swat team members and even a k9 unit was brought in to help. Police also searched a car in the area that they eventually towed away. Then they shifted their resources just one block over. Charles Clifford according to the california Highway Patrol, just before 530 friday afternoon, two vehicles may have been involved in a collision along the northbound lanes of highway 101 just past the hillsdale exit in san mateo. Three chp officers responded to the scene, each in a separate vehicle. According to the San Mateo Police department, when the officers arrived they found an adult male armed with a handgun. Moments later, all three chp officers fired shots at the suspect. Sotthe suspect was fatally wounded in the shooting. The officers are all ok. Exactly what prompted the officers to fire at the suspect is still under investigation but Law Enforcement sources have told kron 4s that this may have started as a road rage incident ....
Benjamin martin were arrested at their home in San Francisco earlier this week. Both men are facing charges for possession of child pornography and possession of over 600 files of child pornography. Lockhart is also accused of distributing child porn. The Police Department says that back in march the internet crimes against children unit began investigating dr lockhart, who works as psychiatrist at ucsf. They now believe that he was uploading and trading child porn on the internet using the wifi connection at ucsf. Investigators say that when they searched lockhart and martins home they found hundreds of child pornography videos and images on multiple devices. They also found evidence that lockhart was viewing child porn. In a statement, ucsf said on thursday that they were aware of dr. Lockharts arrest and the charges he is facing.
