On the schuylkill expressway watching the ramp approaching the vine street expressway still seeing that construction in place. It typically lifts around this time. Police activity there on the scene. Theyre going to take these exit ramp signs away so it will be completely backed up. Take vine as your alternate. Theres a set of traffic lights out on the boulevard right around 9th street that might cause delays. Not a the lot of traffic out there. It might be a problem especially if this continues into the very beginnings of rush hour. Also out in langhorn watch for construction route 1 northbound is closed between stony hill road. Orange thats the intensity level the highest in around the norristown area moving toward pottstown also around the west pike lapped area still looking at really heavy rainfall. Rainfall rates here one to 2inches per hour but as we move into the center city area, its a damp and dreary commute. You can see that rain continues to move back in outside of our studios here at fourth and market. You can see those windshield wipers going. The streets are wet. So allow some extra travel time if youre stepping outdoors as we are still dealing with that rain moving in as we move into sections of delaware, also back into south jersey, you saw a little bit of a lull, but that action continues to move right back in. If i zoom further south you can see the red scan. Now there is a possibility we could see some of those thunderstorms move inland and we could get an isolated pocket or two of heavy downpours at times especially around areas in the coastline.
