finally made a run for it. county, oregon, say they got a 911 call on friday night reporting a friend woman who was running down the street in a community of brandon. you can see this image from google street view. the woman told investigators she had been kidnapped earlier that day and san jose by a man she did not know who made her drive all the way to oregon. she was told to drive north at the beginning and then they made a couple of stops along the way for fuel. as soon as the car came to a halt able to escape from the car and run into the brush. reporter: authorities say the woman was treated for bruises to her face. they do not believe she was sexually assaulted while being held captive. the 22-year-old san jose state student was set to graduate this past weekend but when her parents showed up at her apartment for the ceremony, she was not there. there was never a missing persons report filed with the san jose police department. the sheriff s office in coos county,

(james)we re waking up to cloudy and cool conditions this wednesday morning with temperatures in the 50s. light showers fell in the east bay overnight. weather gauges are showing .01 - .02 since no major hot spots. bay bridge wb 80 is less then 30 min from the maze to sf. ace train delays up to 20 min on train 3 (mark) breaking overnight. the city of oakland has reached a large settlement with the woman at the center of the o-p-d sex scandal. the oakland city council voted early this morning to pay jasmine abuslin. formerly known as celeste guap. nearly a million dollars. abuslin claimed she was victimized and exploited by oakland police officers when she was under age. the investigation led oakland to go through three police chiefs. four current or former officers are also facing charges in the scandal. abuslin was originally looking for 66-million dollars. oakland s city attorney recommended that the city settle for just under a million dollars. around 2 this morning, the
