with cloud coverage breaking through. it is going to the other side which is producing some rain. fort bragg to the north that is the main emphasis. south of that is hit or miss with just a few bands. there is only a couple hundreds out of that. in the sierra right now you have to worry about clouds not snow. we have a lot of cloud coverage into southern california making for a cloudy day but each day the ridge of high pressure will be lifting northward and temperatures will be bumping up. 70s near san jose but 60s to the north. sal tells us that the traffic is moderate. we have some commutes that will be pretty light because some schools are not in class this week. let s go see what we have as we look at the traffic on the altamont pass. that is one of the busiest commutes. that is the busiest in the bay area because of earlier issues. the traffic is going to be better when you reach livermore. i want to mention that westbound 80 on the east shore freeway is 31 minut ....
