The Fairfield Fall Fun Fest will be held in Downtown Fairfield from Wednesday, September 15th through Saturday, September 18th. Events open on Wednesday night with the Roasted Chestnuts on the Main Stage from 6 – 7pm, sponsored by the Wayne County Press, followed by Church Night Gospel Music organized by Lowell Beckel & NYOC at 7pm, sponsored by Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home. On Thursday, September 16th: FNB's 5k Run/Walk registration will be held at the corner of Court & 4th Streets at 4:30pm, the race begins at 6pm. The 5k awards will be held at the corner of Court & 4th at 7pm, the awards are sponsored by Fairfield National Bank. Also happening on Thursday, the Fun Fest Prince & Princess Contest, sponsored by Fairfield National Bank, will take place on the Main Stage at 5:30pm. Miss Fall Fun Fest will be held at 8pm on the Main Stage at 8pm, Miss Fall Fun Fest is sponsored by The Chop Shop & Fry's Excavating, the event was organized by Chasity Fry ....
