temperatures in the midlands at the minute only around 11 degrees so it is chilly but in the sunshine for west scotland and northern ireland temperatures soaring to around 2a or 25 degrees. so a massive contrast in the weather and in temperature even though we are underneath the same high pressure. overnight the cloud comes back in and as temperatures drop below 10 degrees we start to get some drizzle falling from that cloud sheet. across parts of east scotland and eastern central parts of england it is likely to be a damp start to thursday morning. the morning the drizzle petering out but the cloud will linger across some eastern areas, further west a better chance of seeing the cloud break. for example across parts of wales and the west midlands. temperatures might be climbing again into the 20s in those sunny skies out west. on friday high pressure is still there but we think there will will be less cloud around some more of us should have that brighter weather with ....
