There are people who say they felt this was worse than other events, that it felt like someone dropped the ball and there were fans who missed this entirely and theyre bitter. Fire has been jumping from trees to structures. At least 1,500 people have been evacuated. So far the fire has burned 350 acres and is just 15 contained. Right now at least 11 wildfires are burning across the state keeping fire crews busy and homeowners on edge. Reporter less than two hours ago, more than 100 residents attended a briefing at sierra middle school. Sheriffs officials let residents where there are mandatory evacuations and where road closures are. Tonight calfire tells me the fire has doubled in size since this morning. It has now burned 8,600 acres and its threatening 500 homes. The sky covered in a giant cloud of smoke. This is our property, the front porch. The home was billowing in ashes. I said thats it.
