Over the past week, we heard authorities begging the public for any help and any information they could offer in the search for this killer and now we know a tip led them to take eric black jr. , a 20yearold man, into custody. They say they did that without incident in east Harris County. That is the area where the shooting took place. And in the course of questioning, this man admitted to taking part in the shooting. Authorities are not specifying what role he played. They have not explicitly said that he was the gunman. They say they are continuing to pursue evidence that could lead to others being charged here.
