Power minister RK Singh held a series of meetings to review the power capacities and preparations for the summer that is expected to exhibit above-normal temperatures in most parts of the country, according to the statement. A peak demand of 260 GW is expected between April and June, higher than the peak of 243 GW recorded last year in September.
