(MURFREESBORO) Great news hard working crews made quick repairs on the winter damage reported earlier at the downtown Linebaugh Public Library.
After a full day of repairing the downtown library on Tuesday, Mindy Barrett told WGNS, "Linebaugh will be reopening Wednesday (1/24/2024) morning at 9:00AM."

(MURFREESBORO) While the artic blast was wreaking havoc on roads, schools, offices it was quietly creating damage inside the LINEBAUGH PURLIC LIBRARY. The facility was closed due to the icy weather, so there was no staff to see the damage being done when the pipes froze. Linebaugh is the downtown Murfreesboro branch of the Rutherford County Public Library System. It is located next to the Murfreesboro City Hall at 105 W. Vine Street.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - After a 2-year wait. That was Rutherford County Library Director Rita Shacklett, talking about the brand-new and much anticipated Bookmobile that arrived on Tuesday.
Around 2-years ago, bookmobile staff and library board members identified a long list of necessary repairs to the old bookmobile. After adding up the cost of fixing the vehicle, the decision was made to retire the old bookmobile and order a new one.
