a deadly accident in suffolk county is being blamed on black ice. police say an s.u.v. lost control and slammed into a suffolk county transit bus on montauk hay just before 7:00 a.m. the s.u.v. driver was pronounced dead on the scene. no passengers were on the bus. southampton police say this was one of 17 accidents caused by black ice over an eight-hour period. speaking of the conditions, let s talk about the temperature and what could be a rainy weekend for us. we will continue to see the temperature rising from this point on. 45 around j.f.k. 42 teterboro. 43 around newark and 40 white plains. these numbers are warm, warmer than normal. temperatures should be about 35, 36 degrees. again there will be rain and a rain shower could get into cold air along i-84, i-80, 287, the thruway here. that may create icy conditions. this will be late tonight tomorrow. you see on the futurecast that i will show you, that will be coming in overnight from this batch of rain to the wes ....
