Chp was on scene, they just now towed the two pickup trucks that were involved out of the area and it is a reminder to take it easy out there this morning. Meanwhile, chp also investigating that overnight fatal collision, that fatal crash. At this point chp has not confirmed rain was a factor in that crash either. Here are the details on that. A big rig crashed here after 10 00 last night on highway 101 just north of san pedro road. The chp says the big rig slammed into the Center Divide and then caught fire. Chp reported that fire was coming from the front and rear of that big rig, by 10 35 a sigalert had been issued because all northbound lanes were blocked along with three southbound lanes. Now, at this point no word on the identity of the person who was killed in that crash. That sigalert cancelled at 3 30 as all lanes of 101 were reopened.
