Shootings, is that in some areas of the city, they have been group involved in games or groups and bayview, inkel tied e and we know theyre tied to previous homicides or homicides that happen in other cities and this is a phase of retaliation sometimes that retaliation has been laid and that is not uncommon. The other thing, in certain districts like in the tenderlo tenderloin, the degree of our shootings are by narcotics activity. Weve had narcotics related robberies go bad that results in shootings and the like and even some of the once outside of the tenderloin, we know for just based on investigations that that is narcotic related activity. Also, we know that very few of these shootings are just random. We have disputes and an argument that gets out of control and someone ends it with bringing out a gun. I see no hands. Next item. Was the calendar of future meetings . I think it was everything right . Was it difficult . I called everything, yes. Im going to ask that we schedule donte king here present at the Commission Bias is an extremely important topic which addresses the bias in policing. This revision and all the hard work we did Means Nothing if were not willing to address issues of bias, racism and antiblack sentiments within the department. When the allegations came to light back in february 2020, i asked that this matter be agendized so we can speak get directly to mr. King and address these troubling allegations. Our request was made to investigate the allegations. However, thats not d. P. A. s responsibility or their jurisdiction. There was a question about this at the public hearing and in the and in the previous draft of the learning continuity plan and we had highlighted that we were pending clarification from the c. D. E. About the actions and expenditures. So i just wanted to take a moment to clarify, to explain that clarification, and the response that we have received. So we wanted to confirm that the actions and the expenditures that are at the bottom of each major section of the plan, we wanted to make sure that we were approaching that process correctly. And so the clarification that we received is that we should be considering both learning loss mitigation funds and lcff funds in our plan. But we do not need to include all of both of those sources. It is up to our discretion, the extent to which we include those funds. But thos
