San Francisco City college. I never knew that i would one day grow up and oversee the Free City College program at the department of children, youth, and their families, increasing access to Educational Opportunities for our Community Every day. In this role, i also monitoring the entire budget for the program. My passion for education started at a young age. I grew up in a lowincome household and have experienced firsthand the transformative nature of education both as a student and teacher. But over time, i realized how Education Systems failed our most vulnerable students. As a former legislative aide, i worked on legislation to ban the box on private college applications, making San Francisco the first city in the nation to do so. During this time of a Global Pandemic and a social movement to dismantle systemic racism, city College Needs a new voice and a proven leader in education. My lifes mission has been to ensure institutions are accountable to the people they are built to ser

Hell oh everyone. Thank you so much for joining us today. Well, covid has changed our lives. The fact it is has changed how we go to work, how we go to restaurants, how we interact with each other but this year will change how we vote. We want to make sure here in San Francisco, we make it as simple as possible. Im excited to be here to announce that although we cant do what weve done in the past, and provide early voting in city hall, we are going to be doing early voting right outside on grove street in what looks like a Beautiful Party at the present time. I want to thank the department of elections, and he will talk about more about exactly the steps that his team has taken to ensure that we not only make voting accessible, we make it safe. We want to make sure that people feel comfortable if they need to vote early. They can come to this Voting Center and it will be opening on monday. If they want to vote on election day or drop off their ballots on election day, well have 588 loc
Stream here, but thank you. I had the exact same one issue that i dont want to postpone with the same issue you just brought up about the conservatorships, and im looking for chief tong. There you go. Theres chief tong. Knowing a little bit about the conservatorship proceedings from the probate division, i this is seeming a little bit backwards to me. It is in fact true, its a civil proceeding, and they have been pushed way into 2021. But just as, lets say, Domestic Violence restraining orders or those kinds of things have been moving ahead the whole time and have been dealt with timely, you know, we have in this city such stringent requirements, its shocking to me that anybody qualified but so much must be expended upon a single individual before the Public Guardian or Family Member or whomever is allowed to file. But it just seems contrary to my logic that with backed that, with backed up cases, there are more cases coming into the system. Im not asking you to address that now, but i
