These folks were picketing in front of the department of family and Children Services where they would question working. The 12,000 member union voted to authorize a strike working without a contract since june and they said they offered the workers a of 25 million package of pay raises and benefits over five years but the union is asking for more something he said may not be sustainable in a slowing economy but the workers say negotiations are stalled over staffing and services and working conditions.
