QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that the thinking of the present government about development of the province is different from that of previous governments. The government is utilising all its resources to bring the province on a par with other provinces of the country. Speaking at a ceremony held to the mark completion of phase-1 of Sabzal Road by-pass project on Friday, he said that all under-construction roads in Quetta would be converted into dual carriageways, which would help ease traffic congestion. PPI/File QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove on Wednesday reviewed progress on the construction of a fence along the border with Afghanistan, establishment of special economic zone in the border area and the Chaman master plan. A meeting presided over by the minister decided to provide tube wells run on solar energy to those people who have been divided by the fence. The meeting reviewed the resettlement of border villages. Mr Langove informed the meeting that the border fencing would significantly increase legal border crossing and trade activities between the two countries and area people would get more job opportunities. ....
