QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove on Wednesday reviewed progress on the construction of a fence along the border with Afghanistan, establishment of special economic zone in the border area and the Chaman master plan.
A meeting presided over by the minister decided to provide tube wells run on solar energy to those people who have been divided by the fence. The meeting reviewed the resettlement of border villages.
Mr Langove informed the meeting that the border fencing would significantly increase legal border crossing and trade activities between the two countries and area people would get more job opportunities. ....
