In this research collaboration, ARTIDIS and teams from the University of Barcelona and Hospital Clínic de Barcelona will perform comparative analyses of nanomechanical profiles of cancer tissue and sub-cellular components, i.e. tumor microenvironments (TME), in human lung biopsies of patients with NSCLC undergoing surgery at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. The teams will use the proprietary ARTIDIS technology that provides nanomechanical profiling, based on atomic force microscopy of patient-derived tissues directly at the patient s bedside, and combines it with extensive clinical information to deliver fast diagnosis and optimized treatment plans. Esperon gags anti-communist task force spokespersons

LIEUTENANT General Antonio Parade Jr. and Presidential Communications Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy, spokespersons of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac), have been ordered to stop making any statements on community pantries.
National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr., vice chairman of the task force, said Sunday, April 25, 2021, that he issued the gag order to emphasize that NTF-Elcac is not against community pantries.
He also said neither Parlade nor Badoy are against these.
“As commander of Solcom (Southern Luzon Command) covering three regions, Lt. Gen. Parlade does a lot of bringing basic services to disadvantaged or calamity-stricken barangays and residents therefore with no personal agenda but to help , and achieve his mandates and missions for AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) and therefore for NTF-Elcac where AFP is a member,” Esperon said in a message to reporters. ....

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said Sunday that he is directing Virginia State Police to investigate a traffic stop during which two police officers held an Army second lieutenant at gunpoint in the southeastern part of the state.
Northam, a Democrat, said the incident - in which body-camera footage shows police pepper-spraying, striking and handcuffing Caron Nazario - “is disturbing and angered me.” Nazario, 27, who is Black and Latino, filed a lawsuit this month against Windsor Officers Joe Gutierrez and Daniel Crocker that alleges excessive force due to racial profiling. ....
