Secure u. S. Bases act which senator ernst and i worked on to reform and improve our military student Training Programs f following the attack at pensacola last year. Reports show a lack of a vetting and multiple levels of that have led to this tragic attack. This should never have been allowed in this country but let alone american motor base with easy access to megan military men and women and to secure u. S. Bases act eliminates the unnecessary risk by requiring a thoroughly backing process before the student enters the u. S. Requiring foreign students and to follow rules established by u. S. Space commanders andll investing proving that the girl he servicemembers the families and the surrounding communities. I serve in the u. S. Navy and i can ever imagine not feeling safe on base. We must do everything in our power to prevent tragedy like pensacola from ever happening again and the secure u. S. Base act is an important step and im also working on number of amendments to the Nation
Highlight a new tool to help assess symptoms, and find a place to get tested. Lets look at a couple of slides about our testing data. Yesterday, we got results of 1438new pcr tests, and serology tests. As you can see from this slide, the present positivity from testing continues to trend downward. Statewide it is at about 15 . On this slide you will see the number of tests continues to trend upward. Both of these are good things. We know there are simple steps that all of us can take and should to help stop the spread of this virus. Work, and we know these guidelines will be part of our new normal as we continue to move forward. It was recruited in the summer and fall of 1861, primarily from the North Central part of West Virginia. Let me bring up a map. Primarily from northcentral West Virginia, and also Monroe County, ohio and ring county, pennsylvania. Greene county is here, Monroe County is here. The recruiting area is basically this area, plus a little bit of Greene County and Monroe County, ohio. Their initial service was about 50 miles west of winchester, virginia.
