Well, the good news here is that the situation result was resolved peacefully and no one injured and traffic is getting back to normal. Its going to take a look at some video here from earlier now. The Concord Police Department Says about 7. 30, this morning they found a man apparently in distressed above willow, pass road on an overpass on highway 2. 42. And the northbound lanes so they shut down northbound lanes. The shutdown will pass road underneath the overpass and they spent several hours very peacefully talking to this man. Future. On highway 1 near pacifica, devon, kpix 5. A crash killed a man today in pleasant hill. It happened on taylor boulevard north of withers avenue. The chp says a woman lost control of a toyota mini van, veered to the left and hit a lexus, the impact partially ejected a passenger from the lexus, even though he was wearing a seat belt. He died from head trauma. Two other people in the lexus were hurt. In neighboring walnut creek one intersection has seen dozen of serious crashes over several years. Kpix 5 is at the spot on ignacio valley road where there have been lots of wrecks. Hey brian, of all of the accidents in recent years, 8 of them happen at this busy intersection. And this is not the only trouble spot here. Ignacio valley road, the busiest and most dangerous road. Traffic gets really going.
