Lets talk about our forecast now as we take a live look outside at mount tam looking so beautiful out there. Nice and blue core. Just a few. Lets check in now with kron 4 meteorologist kyla grogan for more. Hey kyla. Hey there. Gorgeous day out there. No doubt about it. As we take a live look here at the embarcadero area with the bay bridge behind. You can see a little bit of a breeze there. We are going to have a little bit of a northwest wind happening today into tomorrow morning. So just be prepared for that right now. Not too bad. You can see about 14 Miles Per Hour there, Half Moon Bay, 30 Miles Per Hour at sfo. Little breezier. Those to the north bay santa rosa starting to see that northwest flow there at about 60 Miles Per Hour. Other than that, though, weve got the beautiful blue skies that are happening out there. Not just here, but across a good portion of california. You can see just a little bit of precipitation trying to make it into the far northwest corner of california. The rest well to the north of us. And of course, that front the track through brought us just a tiny bit of rain last night has already rolled through. So temperatures right now. 66 degrees in San Francisco where 69 in napa we hit 70 in novato and san jose. Same story in hayward here are starting to warm up to be a couple of degrees warmer today than it was yesterday. But mostly its going to be about the blue skies in the fact that were still a little bit below average, right . So this time of year in livermore, we should be about 80 degrees. That would be normal. And today were looking out for about 74, so 5 or 6 degrees below where we should lots low to mid 70s there. As we head inland oakland, about 71 San Francisco staying in the 60s today. So wanted to mention the wind as it picks up, especially as we get into the afternoon. You see the north bay and the peninsula really starting to ramp up or we could see gusts upwards of 25 miles per back a little bit. Well talk more about what happens as we get through the rest of our week. Can see that northerly flow starting to happen on thursday morning. Well talk about that too. Back to you. All right. Cuyler, thank you. Coming up, new protections for patients getting Prescription Medications here in california. More on the stop. Dangerous pharmacies act signed into law just this week. Plus, people are lining up to buy powerball tickets as the jackpot continues to grow. How much tonights grand prize is worth. But first, the flag ban at the sunol glen School District will remain place after a push to repeal thethe b board will keep its ban on all flags other than the u. S. Flag and the california state flag. A board member introduced a resolution to repeal the ban, but nobody else supported it. That means flags like the pride flag cannot be displayed at school. Kron fours. Amanda hari has more on there were dozens of public comments, even the Board Members debated. People spoke passionately on both sides of this issue. Some even bringing flags into the meeting. It was standing room only at the glen School Board Meeting tuesday night on the agenda, an opportunity to repeal a ban on displaying any flag. Other than the u. S. And california flags. We are just here to keep the pressure up. President of Castro Valley pride, Austin Bruckner carrillo says in 2021. They pushed for the pride flag to be flown at districts across Alameda County, including signal in september with a 2, one split. The board voted to ban the pride flag and many other flags on campus. What is going on here and know is not its dangerous. Its scary. The flag ban does not just for move pride, flags but also peace, flags and flags that say things like well come to school. How can you prefer one . Social flag over all the others pretty soon. Well just be full of flag poles. Parents like matthew sylvesters say this argument has started to consume. The community were doing all sorts of, you know, things are normal parents to making a bet and jelly sandwiches. And now here we have research and read about School Board Board member peter romo proposed a resolution repeal the flag ban but no one seconded. Sylvester says some parents will be taking action against school Board Members. Linda hurley and president ryan jorgenson. Weve been organizing. There is a recall underway so far. Its just people when they get the signatures and serve well see what the Community Wants to do in september. The meeting got so heated. They had to call in Alameda County sheriffs deputies to get everything under control. This meeting. They had sheriffs deputies here on campus before it even started. And throughout the meeting in tunnel amanda hari kron. 4 news. Lets talk about our forecast now as we take a live look outside at the Golden Gate Bridge looking so pretty out there. You can see a little sailboats enjoying a that nice weather. Lets check in now with cuyler for more on what we need to know kyla. Hey there. Yeah, it is a gorgeous day out there and it is going to be a little bit below average. But other than not a whole lot to complain about wanted to talk about the rain totals that we had in the overnight. It wasnt huge, right . A little over a 10th of an inch in point raise mill valley just under that law. Honda 7, 1, hundredths. We get down into the smaller devils numbers in santa rosa, Half Moon Bay in just a trace. Their the Oakland Airport at the airport was the same. So chances are you might have seen a little drizzle and thats about it. But today its all about the blue skies as we take a live look here at the Golden Gate Bridge, though were going to keep a cool below average. Today we are going to see some breezy northwest winds that are already kind of starting to show. But the really going to be kicking as we get into the afternoon tonight, mostly clear skies. That should be a pretty quiet night. We do have a shot at a little bit of rain likely north bay. Only it looks like a friday night into saturday and it doesnt look like a whole lot. Another chance possible as we get into the early part of next week. Temperatures right now, though, a pretty nice out there, 70 degrees in hayward, 70 degrees in nevado starting to see those 70s pop up in san jose in antioch, some 60s out to Half Moon Bay about 62. So today will be a little bit warmer than yesterday. These are the highs are looking out for. And, you know, as you can see, kind of similar, yes, to maybe a degree or 2 warmer, particularly as we head into our inland but here is the future cast to show you all the sunshine we have today. As we get into tomorrow, we start that way. Were going to see some clouds start to move in later on thursday, an indication of this front thats going to be coming our way. Thats the one you can seek out falls apart here, trying to hold together. But it does kind of fall apart. Thats the one that could bring us a little bit of a north bay, maybe shower down to about the Golden Gate Bridge. I think that again totals are not going to be terribly impressive for that one. However, having said that, wildfire danger, we are still in it. And this is just to show you that we take into account the dryness. We taking account the wind right now. Were at about a 3 out of 8 or 9. If youre to say for the highest in the scale. And so every little bit of precipitation, we get kind of helps us to stave off our fire danger. So well look out for that wind, which otherwise i would be really concerned about, right . But because we have a little rain, im not as concerned, but still but make sure saying fire the weekend looking pretty good after we get past those am showers back to a staying fire safe is so important. Thank you. Kyla happening tonight. It is a powerball frenzy. The estimated jackpot is now 1. 7, 3 billion dollars and people are scrambling to get their tickets. Kron fours Michael Thomas
