DIMAPUR: The Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG) and Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan has a closed-door meeting at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima on Friday. The nine-member delegation of WC-NNPG was led by its Convener N Kitovi Zhimomi and Co-Convener Isak Sumi. Speaking to journalists after the meeting which lasted for more than an hour, Isak Sumi it was the group’s first meeting with Ganesan after he became the governor of Nagaland, and that they had apprised him about the current ground realities of the Naga political issues. He said that they had urged the governor to remind the government of India about the urgency of announcing the solution to the protracted Naga issue and subsequent implementation of the agreement signed.
