NPA rebel wanted for rape nabbed in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY - Bicol Region's seventh most wanted, an alleged New People's Army (NPA) member who is also wanted for rape charges, was arrested in Camarines Norte over the weekend. In a statement on Tuesday, Maj. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-Bicol (PRO-5) spokesperson, said that suspect, Arjay Jalandoni, 35, was nabbed by operatives of San Jose Panganiban Police Station during the service of a warrant of arrest at his hideout in the said town. Jalandoni is listed as the region's seventh most wanted person. His arrest warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 5 in Daet, Camarines Norte. 3 notorious drug pushers nabbed in Camarines Sur

Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-Bicol (PRO-5) spokesperson, identified the suspects as Erwin Riason, 43, and Renato Bermundo, 50, both of Magarao, Camarines Sur. Malu Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, in an interview, said the one-week intensified drive is also a move to address the problem of the previously reported violence and incidents that involved the use of unlicensed firearms.
