In 1943, the Supreme Court ruled in West Virginia state board of education versus barnett that Public School students could not be forced to salute the american flag. Some students opposed saluting the flag on religious grounds. Up next, a conversation about that Supreme Court decision. One of the first cases of, note, was the gobitas versus case. We have history with individuals we will be interviewing. To kind of recap back in 2002, i believe, i tracked down marie and Lillian Barnett and had a chance down in the charleston area. I didnt know you knew what was happening but all of a sudden this guy with a camcorder tracked you down, went to a kingdom hall and had a chance to chat. You were gracious enough to put up with me.
