He was a coach. And a friend. Corporal Nate Carrigan was among three deputies shot while serving an eviction notice at a home near bailey. Corporal carrigan died. His two partners survived. 9news reporter noel brennan is in park county this morning. Noel it seems as though deputies knew. The homeowner was a potential threat. About 9 48 yesterday morning, martin wirth. Police say wirth came out onto the deck and then went back inside. Officers followed wirth into the home and thats when he started shooting. Corporal Nate Carrigan was shot and died at the scene. Master patrol Deputy Kolby Martin was hit multiple times and is in critical condition. A bullet grazed the ear of captain
