Im here to provide an update on staffs efforts to revise the penalty policy into the streamlined administrative Resolution Program. At the august 2019 Commission Meeting, directors commissioners directed staff to move forward with the policy to reduce incertainty and time spent negotiating a settlement by providing a level of standardization and predictability to the commissions Enforcement Program. Not on a short statute of limitations, as you just said, it can sit fairly dormant and every once in a while somebody picks it up and runs it through the system to see if that person has made their presence known or an asset made available. Right. So its not like somebody is spending 15 minutes every week trying to find this person for seven years, right . No, no, no. It will be typically we look for judgment cases, specific for small volumes, well have like nine active account. Once a month theyll touch it. And it depends if they are able to identify any leads to an asset. But the judgments we are good for ten years, and we renew them up to the full 30 years. So actually on that note for Chris Jackson whose referral date was six and a half years ago, i did spend not 15 minutes but ten minutes to make sure that thats actually on the agenda, though, his specific case. As i recall, when these allegations were brought up, i think the staff has provided i dont think it was a memo but it was a letter to the commission that was open to the public and so may i request that if that was still my recollection that we include that in todays deliberation . Staff have communicated over the concerns in which she brought those before the commission and those have not attached any agenda items in the past. But torn attorney chen looks to be expresses concern but effectively if staff have sought to resolve her concerns, and our belief have not received adequate followup from her end. All of the improvement activities that were doing as a part of plan of correction has to go through theyre going to be monitoring everything that were doing as a part of the plan of correction. But ongoing, its a good point. Making sure that theyre asking us the right questions in helping them with that. I think that this plan of correction with its focus on culture and all of the things that theyre privy to. Basically what weve talked to you, theyve heard. I think they understand how serious this is and are going to have some big expectations for us how were presenting them information and data.
