Wells fargo is dealing with a technical problem that has resulted in some customers reporting their direct deposits disappeared from their bank accounts. Many wells fargo customers contacted the San Francisco based bank yesterday saying they could not access the money that had recently been deposited in their accounts. Its not clear how many people were affected, but wells fargo has issued a statement saying it is aware of the problem and that it is working to resolve it as soon as possible. The companys statement says, quote, a limited number of customers were unable to see recent deposit transactions in their accounts. The vast majority have been resolved and the few remaining issues will be resolved soon. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, end quote.
