The man driving the car was traveling north on rock creek parkway and exited on beach drive, a heavily wooded area when out of nowhere this tree crashed down on his sedan. The officer tells me at least 30 people helped him lift the tree up and slide the car backwards fromunder the tree. Reporter the 30 or so people were bystanders who were in the area. It was critical those people stopped and helped. Three or four people could not have done it. It would have taken an army, and it did. Reporter before the army moved the massive tree, it crushed the roof of the car on top of the driver.
