[ laughter ] it is 4:31 now. new this morning a fire at a san francisco hotel near union square at 2 a.m. at sutter and grant. everyone was evacuated. guests ran out in their nightclothes. many wrapped up in blankets. fire crews are on the scene. no reports of injuries. an out-of-control woman goes on a rampage behind the wheel turning van ness and pine street in san francisco into demolition derby. it all started about 7:00 last night. two plainclothes officers found what they believed was a stolen volkswagen sedan. officers say when they identified the themselves, the woman in the car drove toward them and hit a gas station before driving up pine street. then she turned around and she drove on the street and on the sidewalk. she hit a number of cars barely missed a man on a motorcycle and was headed right toward the officers. i was down the street and i heard, like, five shots
thursday into friday. we ll talk more about that coming up. out the door through the los altos hills we have an unusual delay of yellow sensors approaching that exit. it happened early this morning. it s still there causing a bit of a problem for the early start of our morning commute. bay bridge looks great. they should have just cleared all the overnight roadwork to wrap up at 5:00. no metering lights and a look now approaching the dublin interchange. we had a lot of overnight roadwork in the left lanes westbound 580 from hacienda and clear from the dublin interchange to altamont pass. 5:01. a woman in vallejo is missing this morning and police believe she may have been kidnapped and her kidnapper may be holding her for ransom. her name is denise huskins, 30 years old. a witness said he saw her being taken against her will on kirkland avenue on mare island. ryan takeo is at the police command post there and has the latest. reporter: the command center is set up here,
