hold a public hearing on the mayor s december 17, 2021 local emergency relating to drug overdoses in the tenderloin. president walton: thank you, so much. colleagues, as we all know, over the break we held a very long special meeting on the mayor s emergency order for the tenderloin. we heard from various departments speaking on the plan and we also heard robust testimony from san francisco residents in support and against the plan. ultimately, our board voted 8-2 to approve the motion to concur with the emergency order. at the time of the meeting, we had not received a written plan from the department of emergency management or the mayor s office. it was promised to us the following week. last tuesday, a plan was e-mailed and submitted to the board of supervisors from the director of the department of emergency management. we want to appreciate director carroll for sending us the written plan. we know that there are additional questions and concerns on the emergency ....
