They said it is likely they will be here all night. The fire is contained. Occasionally, it flairs up and smells like smoke around here. They want to make sure its safe to go inside. Dozens displaced and two suffered smoke inhilation. Flames poured from the front of the building on Mission Street near 29th. Sam works across the street. I heard that all the fire trucks came, then kind of exploded. Reporter he couldnt believe how fast it grew. I was worried. Saw the smoke going that way. It was out of control. Reporter the fire quickly jumped to five alarms and spread to six buildings. The building above the restaurant, saw the smoke, then watched the flames run across to the hardware. This midnineties chevy blazer went through toll lane number two at the bay bridge around 8 30 on saturday night. The chp says 60 somethingyearold black m was behind the wheel while a black woman in her late 40s was in the passeer seat. What caught the attention was the toll tak was aoung black girl kneeling on the center console. 12 yes old distraught, screaming, crying d struggling with the passenger in the right front seat.
