The bracelets are on display in the Israel Museum (that is now opened to the public).
Earlier this year, the IAA revealed how divers off the coast of Israel uncovered a hoard of ancient coins and statues.
The rare treasures were found in the Roman harbour of Caesarea, on the Mediterranean coast.
A few years ago, a pair of divers discovered a 1,600-year-old Roman cargo ship at the bottom of the harbour. ....

Archaeologists have dated the artefact to the end of the First Temple period, about 2,500 years ago. Only one other figurine of this kind has been found in Israel to date, making its discovery all the more astounding. Zvi Ben-David, 11, from Beer Sheba spotted the ancient object a few weeks ago while on a family trip to the Nahal Besor stream or wadi in southern Israel. ....

Nearly one kilogram of pure gold has been uncovered by high school students volunteering at an archaeology dig outside of Tel Aviv, Israel, late last year. Two students from a local youth community stumbled upon the buried treasure while helping the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) as part of a Pre-Army Service Year, known as Shnat Sherut. Two students noticed a shimmer of gold peeking through the cracked remains of a small jar in the ground. ....

Ancient tombstone reveals lady Maria lived immaculate life
‘Blessed Maria’ seems to have died on February 9 of an unspecified year, according to stone found during work to prepare nature paths.

A lady called Maria who lived some 1,400 years ago apparently led such an immaculate life that her loved ones thought it worth mentioning on her tombstone, which was recently discovered at the Nitzana National Park in southern Israel.
The flat round tombstone, measuring 10 inches in diameter, was unearthed by an Israel Nature and Parks Authority worker while clearing nature paths. ....
