Six Flags Magic Mountain Announced As COVID-19 Vaccination Site Six Flags Magic Mountain has been named one of five “large-scale” vaccination sites opening across Los Angeles County next week as public health officials work to expand the county’s capacity for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Six Flags Magic Mountain is one of five vaccination sites scheduled to open on Tuesday, Jan. 19. Officials say that each site will be able to vaccinate approximately 4,000 people per day. “In L.A. County, we have to vaccinate 10 million people, twice,” said Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn in a statement issued Friday. “These large-scale vaccination sites are going to help us get there by massively increasing our capacity to vaccinate people quickly and efficiently.” ....
Healthcare workers who are eligible for the vaccine right now and plan on receiving it at a LADPH vaccination site must bring one of four documents proving their occupation. This could include a healthcare worker employee badge with photo, professional license and photo ID, signed letter from employer on facility letterhead and a photo ID, or a payment stub from a healthcare provider with your name and a photo ID. In regards to future vaccine distribution plans at Henry Mayo, Moody says that officials plan to stay open for a minimum of six weeks with the possibility for extensions. The vaccine clinic is located in the Henry Mayo Center at 23803 McBean Parkway and is open between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. ....
